What is Indianet?

An information and dissemination point for activities about India and Spain-India relations. A meeting point and tool for communities related to India.

In the area of civil cooperation, there are several heterogeneous interest groups related to Indian culture: cultural workers, academics, business people etc.

Thus, the need for an information and dissemination channel about activities has arisen. This channel should serve not only as a meeting point but also as a tool for the members of each community.

Indianet.es as a virtual platform responds to these needs by achieving the following objectives:

  • Serving as an information and dissemination point for activities aboutIndiaand Spain-India relations.
  • Serving as a meeting point and tool for communities related toIndia.

Indianet.es is comprised of two types of spaces, indianet.es – PUBLIC and indianet.es – PRIVATE.

The first is accessible via the Internet to anybody interested in Indian culture or in those activities related to India that take place inSpain. The second is made up of private spaces (communities) where people (members) that are working on specific areas of interest related toIndiause this tool to contact and collaborate with each other.

Currently active communities can be grouped by area of interest. To become a member of a community you must first join indianet.es. Once part of Indianet.es you can go on to belong to more than one community.
